ReCap of Jazz Colony - Sea Jazz Gig and Next Week...

Last night (Wednesday, 8-8-2012) was a Great Performance Jam Session at Sea Jazz at the Port of Edmonds (West side of Anthony's Home Port)!!!!

The weather cooperated.  The venue was fantastic.  Everybody played on various songs to a nice little impromptu crowd.  Thanks to the host band of Miles Laven, Max Bennett and Jackson Mindt...  Thanks to Dan Taylor and Steve Treseler for orchestrating the kids and combos, etc.   Thanks to the professional guest players, ie. Steve Treseler, Dan Taylor, Bruce Laven and our own Jake Bergivin. 

Anthony's Homeport loved it.  A Port Commissioner, David Preston, was there and he loved it.  The Seattle Teen Music, mastermind, Jon Scherrer was present and he loved it.

Thanks to all the EWHS Jazz Colony musicians who participated.

Jazz Colony Musicians:  Next session -- Next Wednesday, 8-15-2012 - 6:00p - 9:00p -- @ the EWHS Band Room.

Prior to the Session:  work on, looking through Steve Treseler Materials; Ear training exercises, and bring your post gig ideas, comments and thoughts.  Steve and Dan will bring in some more interesting jazz points, games and skills.. and as usual, we will Jam during a good portion of the time.

I have a list of who I think we be in attendance and not...  so let me know if that changes.
